Queer & indigenous owned
Meet Jason Wu, Registered Psychologist
As a queer, biracial (Chinese/Cree) person, I know what it feels like to not fit in. I remember the shame that came from beating myself up for not meeting the impossible standards I set, all while trying to live a life that wasn’t truly mine.

Meet Jason Wu, Owner of Ikigai Integrative
As a queer, biracial (Chinese/Cree) person, I know what it feels like to not fit in. I remember the shame that came from beating myself up for not meeting the impossible standards I set, all while trying to live a life that wasn’t truly mine.
Meet Jason Wu.
If you’re facing mental health challenges related to your sexual, gender, or cultural identity—or are ready to process past experiences—you’ve come to the right place. In our work together, you’ll have a safe space where your experiences are heard, something that’s often missing in daily life. We’ll explore your challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and work to overcome the mental health struggles that prevent you from living your best life.
I’m a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and have over 11 years of education and a decade of experience in supporting individuals like you.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me playing volleyball, enjoying time on patios with friends, or vibing to live music.
Our mission.
Our history.
Ikigai Integrative exists because life is complicated, and mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all—especially when it comes to sex and relationships. We take a personalized, no-judgment approach to help you work through whatever’s weighing you down. No matter your age, shape, sexual orientation, or background, we’re here to support you, help you heal, and maybe even make the journey a little less awkward along the way.
